ASB Final event
The results of the ANTI-SUPERBUGS PCP project will be presented on March 30th from 9.00 to 13.00h CET with the webinar “A cross-border action to improve healthcare-associated infections' prevention and control systems”, organized by the Agència de Qualitat i Avaluació Sanitàries de Catalunya (AQuAS).
The event will also host the presentation of our innovative solution Sens4Care. Together with our partner Sens Solutions, we will show all the functionalities and the potential of the device in identifying three bacteria that are at the root of widespread hospital infection problems (Staphylococcus Aureus, Clostridium Difficile, Klebsiella Pneumoniae).

FutureCare - the new Sensor
Tech4Care celebrates the beginning of the new year with the arrival of a new 3D printer for the R&D department. The investment was made with the contribution of the Marche Regional Operational Program ERDF as part of our FutureCare project.
The 3D printer will allow the fast prototyping of new sensors that will be tested, certified and marketed in the coming months to innovate the offer for residential facilities and customers.

OBJECTIVE
FutureCare general objective is to develop a distributed and smart platform for the monitoring of care services quality and of the well-being of guests, families and healthcare assistants.
The FutureCare platform is conceived as an extension of the “Residenza Digitale” software suite (https://residenzadigitale.com/) already developed and offered by Tech4Care to its customers, interoperable with other software solutions already in use at the facilities.
The most innovative element of the platform is identified in the development of an artificial intelligence framework which, integrated through an IoT approach with different environmental sensors, will be able to provide innovative digital services to meet the new emerging needs of the residential facilities, not least the need to identify in a timely manner, risks associated with the presence of unexpected events, poor hygiene and pathogens through non-invasive environmental sensors.
THE SOLUTION
FutureCare platform offers an integrated framework that includes services and products tailored on residential care facilitieseffective needs, following a modular approach.
In its final and most comprehensive set-up, FutureCare will be composed by:
- A DISTRIBUTED HARDWARE PLATFORMcomposed by devices (installed in guestsrooms and available for users, families and nurses) and sensors for identifying projects parameters such as guestspresence and position, air quality, doors and windows and tracking anonymous videos and audio.
- A SOFTWARE MODULE FOR HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL AND MANAGER,for the management and monitoring of care, hospitality and administrative processes, detected thanks to the integration with the hardware platform components. The software module will be a scalable product and it will be able to manage and assess potentially dangerous events and anomalies (for example unsuitable temperatures, opened windows and doors, residentsfalls, etc.) in an intelligent, proactive e predictive way.
- A SOFTWARE“INFO AND EDUTAINMENT” MODULE FOR USERS (for independent Residents and their families) on mobile devices (tablet or smartphone) to provide them with innovative and customized information services (e.g. daily menu, administrative communications), entertainment (e.g. radio, TV and teleconference programs), training (e.g. brain-training applications) and monitoring of health conditions (e.g. in connection with the facility’s care folder).

ASB goes live
One of the three trials envisaged by the Anti-Superbugs PCP project has officially started at the MútuaTerrassa hospital in Barcelona.
In the framework of Anti-Superbugs PCP, Tech4Care and Sens Solutions have created the Sens4Care solution.
The goal of the trial is to test the potential of the device developed by our partner Sens Solutions in identifying three bacteria that are at the root of widespread hospital infection problems (Stafilococco Aureus, Clostridium Difficile, Klebsiella Pneumoniae).
Tech4Care oversaw the design and preparation phase of the technical-scientific dossier, the notification to the competent authority and the submission of the documentation to the ethics committees of the three countries in which the trials will take place (Italy, Spain, Germany).
In addition, Tech4Care has developed the platform for the integration of Sens4Care devices in the context of care processes.

HS Monitor Demo in Turkey
The first demo of the new digital solution developed by Tech4Care, Gesan, Innatolia, miThings and Probel under the HyperHealth project took place on 2nd December in Istanbul.
Our Turkish partner Innatolia demoed all the functionalities developed by the consortium for the comprehensive hypertension care in the community.
Representatives of the procurers of HSMonitor PCP (which finances the project), and a board of clinicians and patients attended the presentation.
It has been an opportunity for us to interact directly with the end users of the solution and to collect useful feedback and suggestions.
Our project has been welcomed with such enthusiasm that pushes us doing better and better! We immediately got back to work to make the HyperHealth solution more and more functional and attractive!
