DiaWatch

DiaWatch is a new mHealth solution which provides a more effective and personalised health management for patients with type 2 diabetes. DiaWatch is a scalable and modular solution, composed by a mobile app for patients, wearable devices for monitoring of vital parameters, a web-based app for clinicians, and an interoperable cloud system. Thanks to a virtual coach exploiting artificial intelligence (AI) proprietary algorithms, the solution supports a proactive and continuous monitoring of patient’s condition, a better self-management and an enhanced communication with clinicians. The DiaWatch solution is currently under final testing and refinements – to be commercialized soon.The development process was supported by European funds awarded in the framework of ProEmpower PCP, which was financed by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme (grant agreement no. 727409).Tech4Care is the lead company which designed and developed the DiaWatch solution, in collaboration with Meteda srl (Italy), miThings AB (Sweden) and Lifeina (France).
